Biography
Prof. Dr. Özkan Özden’s background is in seafood quality control, a subject to which he was attracted by its relevance to seafood security and in which he has published over 67 papers and four books. He has many projects on seafood safety and also he has been working at Istanbul University, Faculty of Fisheries for 20 years. He is a Head of Department of Seafood Processing Technology and Safety.
